XII Astana Economic Forum was held in the capital of Kazakhstan on 16-17 May this year. Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev and Head of State Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev, as well as leading experts, politicians, businessmen and scientists from 74 countries of the world took part in the annual business event of Eurasia. The format of the current forum was different from previous ones. For the first time in 12 years, on the AEF fields in just two days, more than 50 sessions and events were held under the theme “Inspiring growth: people, cities, economies”. For the first time in the history of the forum, students and young people had the opportunity to listen to open public lectures by Nobel Prize winners in various fields of science, as well as to meet with leading political figures of the world.
