During a working trip to Almaty, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev got acquainted with the activities of the newly opened coronavirus mobile testing unit, created by South Korean technology.
The President listened to the report of Almaty’s Mayor Bakytzhan Sagintayev’s report on the epidemiological situation in the city.
The leadership of Medical Partners Korea Kim Daeng and Min Hisuk told the President on the capabilities of the mobile laboratory and the experience of testing using the “Drive-through” system.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also had a conversation with doctors and expressed thanked them for their selfless work.
“The pandemic is actually a war. The whole world has declared a war against the pandemic. As the French say, war is like a war. Together, we can defeat the pandemic,” President Tokayev is convinced.
The Head of State also congratulated the unit’s employees on the International Nurses Day, which is celebrated on May 12 in the world.
