Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and wished prosperity and further strengthening of the country’s authority in the world community.
During the talks, the two Presidents reaffirmed their interest in further strengthening bilateral political, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan on the basis of friendship and brotherhood, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership.
The two leaders exchanged views on a number of pressing issues on the regional agenda, as well as discussed the agenda of upcoming events by the end of this year.
