Kazakhstan President receives the recently elected Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States Binali Yıldırım.
Expressing gratitude to the President for the opportunity to meet, Binali Yıldırım congratulated Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and all the people of Kazakhstan on the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s Independence. In order to further strengthening bilateral strategic partnership, Binali Yıldırım, on behalf of President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan invited Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to pay official visit to Ankara next year.
During the conversation, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Binali Yıldırım discussed the current state and prospects for the development of the Kazakh-Turkish strategic partnership, as well as cooperation in political, economic, cultural and humanitarian areas.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the intensification of high-level political dialogue, as well as the dynamic development of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
Highlighting the importance of the decisions taken following historic the Istanbul Summit in November of 2021, President Tokayev congratulated Binali Yıldırım on his appointment as Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States.
