The President held meetings with Jean-Luc Maurange, Chief Executive Officer of the Belgian “John Cockerill” company and Wolfgang Kropp, Chief Executive Officer of the German SVEVIND Group.
At the meeting with Jean-Luc Maurange, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev discussed the prospects for implementing investment projects in Kazakhstan in railway locomotives modernization and renewable energy sources.
In a conversation with Wolfgang Kropp, the President discussed the implementation of the “Hyrasia One” project in the “green” hydrogen production in the Mangystau Region.
President Tokayev highly valued the progress of earlier started investment projects and noted its strategic importance for Kazakhstan. He assured that the progress of the company's projects in our country would be under his personal control. Along with this, the President pointed out to the need to comply with all environmental standards and recommendations.
Following the meeting, President Tokayev witnessed the signing ceremony of the Framework Agreement on Basic Principles between the Government of Kazakhstan and Svevind Group.
