President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev receives the Letters of Credence from newly appointed ambassadors

The ceremony of presenting credentials to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of six states took place at the Akorda residence.

The credentials were presented by Yoav Bistritsky, Ambassador of the State of Israel, Kudaibergen Bazarbayev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic, Alfredo Fidel Nieves Portuondo, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Georges Abou Zeid, Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon, Mark Grey Marongwe, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Fathudin Ali Mohamed, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia.

Addressing the diplomats, President Tokayev underlined that Kazakhstan is a peaceful nation committed to maintaining friendly and constructive relations with all countries. He also briefed the ambassadors on the key goals of the domestic reform agenda aimed at building a Just and Fair Kazakhstan founded on the principles of Law and Order.

The President congratulated the ambassadors on the beginning of their mission and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to support their work and deepen cooperation with each of their countries.
